Focus Wales 2026

Last week, I’ve attended Focus Wales, a big music/film festival in Wrexham (Wales)!

I’ve watched lots of fantastic short films: 3 documentaries, 4 thrillers, and the amazing Flock.

And I saw these bands in concert:

A big red tent on an open green field, with an audience and a live band inside. The banner in the back says "Campfire Social".

I’ve known quite a few of these bands already – and I was especially happy to have finally witnessed the amazing Alpha Male Tea Party live, after being a fan for many years. There were also some bands I’ve seen for the first time: Slate, Lawn Chair, and Bitterfly were all great – and the latter two played in a nice little pub, which made the experience extra fun.

Needless to say, it’s been a great time! If you happen to be in or near Wales next spring, you should check it out. Meanwhile, I’m already looking forward to the next festival (which might be Vegan Camp Out or Green Man)!
